What I Do For CMS and Why I'm Thankful

Where do I begin? I started and found Christian Media Spotlight hosted by Joseph Neal in January 2020. I found it through an internet search. I was looking at the time to share my story and testimony. I first took part later on in May of 20, 2020. I was on a live over skype with another viewer, Joe, and one of my favorites with their song called It's Time, which was the band Right Hand Shade. I got to ask my questions to them and it was great. Then November 12, 2020 is when I cohosted for the first time with Joe. November 21, 2020 is when I first took part in a Night Of Hope Special on Night Of Hope Seven. November 29, 2020 is when I cohosted a second time with Christian Media Spotlight. A little later on, I became a viewer consultant with some great people, and it was on May 6, 2021 that I started to log music for Christian Media Spotlight. In July of last year on Night Of Hope 13, is where I took part in the kickoff show for the first time and also started logging Night Of Hope Specials. A little later on I created a blog for Christian Media Spotlight so I could help others stay updated if they didn't have social media. When the Radio Network came into play, I decided on my own to keep track of how many songs we've played on the radio network. On the CMS blog I've also took it upon myself to create a music song set list, so that people could request their songs they loved and that others in the community, and outside of the community loved. And then I decided to keep track of how many shows CMS has done. I also have kept track on my own, how long songs have been played and when they last played. Recently, I got the opportunity to remind Joe before the music hangouts on Sunday nights to do chart reporting for the Radio Network. I am also a contributing writer with Denise Winter and later became an archivist where I keep track of different milestones. Another thng I've been doing with Joe, which that happened around last year close to around this time and well around the first time that it happened, was exciting because I became a co executive producer for the top 25 countdown for CMS. So, Joe and I do tallying and then we work hard to get the countdown show ready and then I help cohost on the countdown show and help announce some songs with Joe. That gives me a lot of joy and happiness. Another thing I do and have been doing, is be a rotational cohost with CMS apart from cohosting on Sundays, and sometimes I help cohost a Night Of Hope Special and sometimes even take part with it. I'm thankful to call this place and this ministry home because Joe has become family to me, he has been someone I've looked up to and someone who is a role model in my life. He has helped me grow spiritually in my faith walk and relationship with Jesus. I couldn't be more grateful, thankful, and humbly blessed for all that I get to do with CMS and I wouldn't have any other way, and I wouldn't trade it for anything because I know that this is where I belong and this is where God has called me to be and where He has placed me to be in a ministry that has been Home for me. So no matter what I do for CMS, or how I'm involved, I know that God brought me here for a purpose and that purpose is to serve along so many others too, and I can't wait to see where I can help next with it all because I know that my journey with CMS is far from over and I know it is just beginning for me. One of the things I remember Joe calling me once, which I thought was neat was how He gave me the nickname Resident Hangout Logger. Others who I've thought of as family came up with Riddle Master. In the 3 years that I've been here with this ministry, I've met so many amazing people who have been family to me and I'm humbly blessed by each special friendship I have with them. I know that God brought me to CMS, and to Red's room for purpose. I wouldn't trade being apart of these two ministries, along with trading being apart of the Soldier's for Faith Ministry for anything. With CMS and Red's Room, I'm able to be involved in ways that I never expected I would be able to be involved. I don't take it for granted. I don't take leading a phone call Bible Study for granted. Each ministry that is home to me, each person in each ministry that God has shown me was apart of His plan for me, and what I'm doing currently for the ministry for Joe, Red, and Soldier's faith is where I'm supposed to be and right where I belong, and for that I don't look back because I know God has brought me here for good. I love this family daily and I wouldn't trade it for anything because this family is a blessing and an encouragement in my life. I have also been friends with Joe since November of 2020, and in May of 2020 I messaged my questions to the main page for Right Hand Shade and everything else, I could share, well I'll share for another time because right now, I will say I'm not lucky I'm blessed beyond measure and I thank God every time.
