Contributing Writer

One of the things that became a thing for this ministry and show that Joseph Neal who is host, was an idea for people to take part in writing feature articles, by interviewing artists. I private messaged Joe and from there, I got my first interview where I interviewed Glendil Griffin who is a Christian artist. In my time of becoming a contributing writer, another person I've met since being with Christian Media Spotlight is Denise Winter and she is also a talented writer. Her first interview that she did was with Dave Pettigrew. The artists I've mentioned have both appeared on Christian Media Spotlight's Night Of Hope Specials. I'm grateful and thankful to be able to do these interviews and even be doing them with Denise Winter who does them as well. If I had to describe my experience in doing the interviews with the artists, I would describe it as fun, but also amazing to know that God is in control and it doesn't matter how long a interview with them takes, as long as you're helping them share not just their testimony but allowing the opportunity to share more about who they're and what their story is. We all have a story to tell. God isn't finished with us yet. He created us in His Image. We are wonderfully made by Him. I didn't know what people of my family and friends that is, let alone the community would even think once the first article was sent to Joe over email. I was excited, but I have to admit I was a tiny bit nervous because here was something that I did with an artist who has become a great friend but also like family, just like everyone in the community has, and I was wondering how the article was going to turn out and what people would think once they read it. I sometimes think the reason, I would have a hard time wondering if people will like what I write when I share it, is because I sometimes hope that what I share is going to leave an impact for someone out there, who is needing that encouragement, and who needs that reminder of hope. I think it is one of the many reasons I decided to create a blog for the ministry and show, because I not only wanted to do it for them, but I wanted to give people the chance to learn more about it. I wanted to let people know that they could come to a blog where they could learn about a ministry and show that is impacting so many people, and being an inspiration. We hear the saying, ''Home Is Where The Heart Is'' and while that's true, we know that when we all one day go to Heaven, that will be our Heavenly Home for eternity, and knowing that we are going to spend our lives reunited with Jesus and loved ones who have passed is a great feeling. It's a great feeling because we know that God sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins, so we could be forgiven. We are Uniquely and Wonderfully Made and God has so many plans in store for all of us.
